My Second to Last Ed.D Semester in Review

Reading Time: 2 minutes

This last fall (the day before classes began), I was focused on parenting a first grader in virtual school, working a full-time job, and becoming a doctoral candidate. The desire to write more than what was expected of me was just not gonna happen. Throughout my time in my Ed.D. program, I have reflected on each semester in the program on this blog (Here are reminders of what I thought after I completed my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh semesters.) I’ve often found time to blog about other topics while in the program. I wanted to keep this tradition alive, so here we go with a recap of my 8th/second to last semester.

A bittersweet pandemic voting experience. I’ve taken my daughter with me to vote every opportunity since she was born. This was the first time she didn’t accompany me but glad I was able to share thoughtful conversations with her regarding why I voted and whom I voted for. #VotingIsSocialWork
